Almost a month has gone by since the last time I showed you where I was on this chart. With the heatwave we had here in France I didn’t really feel like keeping fabric in my hands, so I let it pick up dust in a corner. I have kept on with the idea I had at the end of the third page : stitching by color, by shape. I started attacking the tree trunk and its branches as you can see. Some of those stitches are bits of leaves, but that doesn’t show for the moment.
I took a bit more time than usual when stitching maybe, but it’s because I took my time counting each little x by fear of making a mistake.
Finally I got quite a bit done on this fourth page, heatwave or not, but I still had time on more than an evening especially with my man away from home during the week because of his formation.
I am a little proud of the drawing appearing little by little. We don’t have to look for the branch in the foreground or for the tree right behind it. That’s the reason why I’ll be sharing my progress once a month instead than once a week. I’m starting to pile up cross stitch articles with this SAL project too. So I’ll see you every second saturday of each month (because I intend keeping my saturdays for corss stitch).
Have a great weekend everyone !
