Tomorrow after lunch we’re going to take off for the weekend and go to Corbreuse a small village in the parisian region but is situated nonetheless in a French region called Beauce (pronounced bow-sss). That’s where my parents live and my two younger brothers still live with them. But my younger sister is in town with her twin girls of 4 and her 2 and half little boy. She actually lives in Mesa, Arizona so you may understand why I want to go and visit my parents. It will be the first time in four years that our parents will see the four of us reunited and it’ll be the very first time the grandkids will be together.
My mom saw more to it than that and is throwing a cousin gathering. Her mother will be there, getting four generations to get together. Her sister and brther are invited to along with their families. So there’ll be adults, younger adults and young children.
Honestly I wish I could spend more time over there, especially knowing that I’m leaving them to go to the hospital instead. A second operation was planned. With a little bit of luck it will be the last time, the surgeon is going to « prospect » to quote her. TWo to three hours to determinate and prospect. I hope the results will be good ones so I won’t have to start all over again.
Goal # 3 : Find three positive things about your day.
That brings me to my goal. I know I’ll be dreading the hospital. I’m also going to leave my girl for the first time for more than a few hours. Monsieur will start his formation at Foix, I’ll be hospitalized in Toulouse at this place where they treat only tumors and cancers so I won’t be seeing them everyday because neither of us will be in our hometown Rodez.
I don’t want to worry about the future, of what may happen at a time that hasn’t come to be yet, because there’s no such way than to get yourself down. I want to be able to talk about my day without shrugging my shoulders, or answering by a « hummmmm » because I was too busy being stressed or complaining. After all this separation is a question of time and it will be a short one too.
PS : These pictures are from 2009, when I was starting to want to learn about photography so I started by taking pictures of what was around me, which made me realize how much I didn’t know anything and that a lot of work was waiting for me.
